Manager, Revenue Accounting 


This role is responsible for supporting month-end closing, preparation of account, SKU, customer and channel-level reconciliations, analysis of financial information related to revenue accounting, providing reporting support to sales and management teams with an emphasis on Gross-to- Net revenue deductions (across the Generic and Branded portfolio).


The Manager/ Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting reports into the Director, Revenue Accounting and is based in Morristown, New Jersey.


Primary responsibilities of this role include the following:

  1. Interpret contracts and estimates financial impact i.e. shelf stocks, pipeline, rebates, etc
  2. Manage sales reporting process - Manage the GTN accrual process ensuring accuracy and compile periodic sales reports; lead in automating the process through iContracts
  3. Provide analytical support to sales team and other ad hoc/data requests
  4. Update monthly and other periodic GTN reserve analysis
  5. Support month-end closing and related activities including: Journal entries, preparing reporting schedules and supporting analysis for management review meetings
  6. Prepare insightful analytics including price volume, NASP (Net Average Selling Price) Trend and customer pricing analysis and alert Company with respect to potential profit opportunities and risks.
  7. Reconcile variances and quantify true up amount and understand drivers
  8. Support financial audits
  9. Support Business development needs right from due diligence to integration
  10. Provide support as needed for resolving deductions and adjudication issues
  11. Liaise/Partner with adjudication and Pricing/Contracts team
  12. Provides reconciliation/analytical support for BI (Business Information)/Data warehouse
  13. Other tasks and projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration • Corporate Accounting experience preferred • GTN Experience required. • General Ledger and Month End Close experience required • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience
